US Transport Police have released shocking photographs of the lethal weapons airline passengers tried to board with in the past year.

The haul of concealed contraband ranges from samurai swords, to pistols, bullets, grenades, inert land mines and live explosives.

Suspicious black powder, flare guns, 562 stun guns and a live "sting ball" riot control grenade were also stopped from being loaded onto aircraft.

Officers from the Transport Security Administration, part of the Department of Homeland Security, screened 638,705,790 passengers across the US.

Around FIVE GUNS per day were fund during checks at 205 airports and firearms were the most confiscated item, with 1,813 being seized.

Real life Grand Theft Auto moment as driver mows down pedestrians

This is the moment a driver played out a real-life scene from Grand Theft Auto as he mowed down pedestrians. The horrifying footage was captured in a surveillance video. The driver, who was reportedly a "blind drunk" 18-year-old, is seen setting off from traffic lights before veering wildly towards a man crossing the road. After hitting the man, he sets off again, first smashing into another car, then mounting the pavement forcing pedestrians to dive to the ground. Russian news website URA reports the incident took place on the corner of Illich and Victory in the city of Sverdlovsk. The driver was reportedly drunk and had no driving licence. He hit three pedestrians causing concussion, head injuries and bruises, but amazingly no-one was killed.

Thursday night, Snoop smoked up a storm in his Australian hotel room. So much so, that firefighters had to be rushed to the scene, because hotel staff thought the building was on fire.But there was no fire. Apparently, Snoop’s weed smoking session set off a fire alarm in his room, and once firefighters arrived they found nothing but a ton of pot smoke.

Until he was arrested and paraded along with 59 other suspected criminals by the Edo State Police Command, Justice Olise, 33, did not see anything wrong being a paedophile; that is, having sex with male children.

Now, he is full of regrets and says being a gay “is bad in the sight of God and man”, advising would-be gays to get away from the act.

Olise was arrested on January 1st, 2014 by police at his No. 20 Evbodaghe street residence. He was alleged to have had sex with five boys whose ages range from 10 to 15 years.

During an interview, Olise however confirmed having sex with five boys and attributed his action to heartbreak he suffered from his girlfriend.

As he disclosed, the church had been praying for a bus to help convey its members from different parts of Lagos on Sundays.

Through the success of its 10th anniversary held on July 10, 2013, the church was able to buy one, which was dedicated on the last Sunday of December, last year.

Star Wars characters slip away from furious Darth Vader to twerk to a hip hop track Beat Calls which is made by a US duo

A musician has created a hilarious parody of the twerking craze with a band of Stormtroopers from Star Wars.

Scott Winn persuaded the iconic baddies to imitate the dance moves made infamous by pop starlet Miley Cyrus to his hip hop track Beat Calls.

It's not an easy feat to pull off considering the heavy white-clad armour worn by the characters.

Didja the cat is from Australia, where apparently everything is just awesome. He spends his days in front of the camera, as he rides a skateboard and does tricks. 

While some of his tricks are clearly aided by some smart camera work, there's no denying that Didja is one highly trained party animal.
